Who Am I?
Hey, I’m Jake, thanks for visiting Leaner Stronger!
I launched my business, Leaner Stronger, in March 2017 with the main goal of reaching out and helping as many people as possible with their weight loss aspirations. With a MSc in Applied Sports Nutrition and a BSc in Sports & Exercise science, and a childhood filled with various sports, my experiences have come together to form who I am today.
For me now, it’s not all about 6 pack abs and eating nothing but broccoli and lettuce (but if you want abs, I can help you do that!).
I have a much more health-based perspective on training and nutrition, and I know if I can help my clients change their lifestyle and habits, the improvements in their health will likely results in the weight changes they’re looking for.
I believe in using my education background and training experiences to date to produce training and nutrition programmes that slot directly into the lifestyle that you lead right now.
Yes, that means you can keep the foods you love in your new lifestyle
I don’t like thinking that my own training and nutrition is a chore, and I don’t like my clients thinking of it in this way either.
Training and nutrition can (& should) be fun!
You just need to find the right ways that work for you - which is my job to help you find the things you enjoy doing, and will stick to in your new found lifestyle.
I invest a lot of time and money into keeping myself educated, and up-to-date with the ever-evolving world of health, fitness and nutrition. I want nothing but the best for my clients and it starts with me having the best possible knowledge.
Being a Personal Trainer can be misinterpreted as being someone who helps someone lose pounds. Yes, that something I can do, but it's a whole lot more than that. I can help you feel happier within yourself and provide you the environment to make huge changes not just in the short-term, but for life.
